.4l pour from tap into a chalice at the brewpub in Bratislava. Black and so opaque I can see myself in it. Moderate tan head with nice lacing. A good looking beer. Nose is a bit roasty and maybe a tad burnt. Body is light and creamy. Taste is nice. A bit of sweetness up from, but with bitterness throughout, especially on the finish. Bready and roasty. A bit burnt. A well-made and drinkable dark beer.

Výčap Meštiansky Dunajská. Zlatá farba s bielou bublinkovou penou. Vôňa sladová, kvasnicová. V chuti prázdne telo, extrémne podchladené a nasýtené. Cítiť sladovosť, jemne ovocné tóny a v pozadí výraznú horkosť. Absolútne nevyvážené pivo.

Draught at the Bratislavsky Meštiansky Pivovar, Bratislava, Slovakia. Cloudy golden colour with a mid-size white head. Malt, hay and mild sweetness in the aroma. The flavour is grassy hops, moderate bitterness and dryness. Bitterness is strong also in the aftertaste. Tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

on tap at the brewpub, a bit of a rush before closing time. hazy goolden with a wispy head; fine aroma of dandelion tea and caramel ice cream; moderate bitterness, delicate malt character and a buttery texture all combine to give a pretty good rendition of a bohemian pilsner

(Tap) Es ist gold- bis getreidig-gelb, unfiltriert mit einer weißen Schaumkrone. Das Aroma ist süßlich, leicht und würzig. Der Geschmack ist vollmundig, getreidig und recht bitter.

From tap @Bratislavský Meštiansky Pivovar, Dunajská. Pours an unclear, zwickel-like, pale golden body. Firm white top. Fresh-smelling. More fruity than malty. Green apples and faint lemon. Some grassy hop tones. Light and dry malt body. Smooth mouthfeel. Tight grassy and light citrussy bitterness. Crisp hoppy finish. Nice all over. [14.04.13]

Aroma: Mild malty, fruity and some citric notes.
Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet and a fresh bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Fresh mild malty, mild fruity and a lovely citric hoppy tail.

Tap at the Brewpub. It pours cloudy golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is dough, sweet pale malt, light spice, dried apricot and grass. The taste is grass, dough, spice, decent bitterness, pithy citrus and straw with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty tasty and well balanced. A solid brew.
