On tap at Bratislavský Meštiansky Pivovar. Slightly hazy golden with a white head. Grainy aroma with mild fruity notes, hints of butter, grass and caramel. A bit sweet and buttery with mild grainy flavours and a light bitterness. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. Okay, but hardly anything to write home about. [22.06.2016]

On tap at Bratislavský meštiansky pivovar. Februray 2014. Shared with lovely Anja and Tom Norman. Murky yellow, thick white smooth lasting head. Malty aroma. Bitter, medium to heavily hopped, very nice. Full taste, full body, medium carbonation, lasting bitterness. An excellent lager.

On tap at the brewpub. Crisp hop aroma with balanced hay maltiness. Lovely, drinkable beer that definitely holds a candle to classic Czech-style Pilsners.

Orange color with a solid foam head. The smell is malty. The taste is mild and of watery consistent. Nevertheless it has a malty bread like part when you swallow it. The aftertaste keeps the malty part alive for a bit. This beer is not really special, but very solid and different from most beers.

0,3 l hana @ Bratislavsky Me?tiansky Pivovar. Hiukan samea kullanruskea. Tuoksussa makeahkoa ja tunkkaista mallasta, raakaa taikinaa ja hiivaa. Jotenkin munamainen? Haju on hyvin epämiellyttävä. Maussa pehmeää ja kevyttä mallasta, humalaa, vaaleaa leipää, myös raakaa taikinaa. Ehkä vähän yrttejä? En tilaisi uudestaan.

.3l pour from tap into a goblet at the brewpub in Bratislava. Brilliant orange, hazy as can be, decent white head with nice lacing. Nose is biscuit and a little bitter smelling. Body is thin and crisp. Taste is quite bitter, a little bready, yeasty, and a bit herbal. Tastes like a super bitter session beer. Not quite my thing, but I can see why someone might like it.

Hazy, yellow colored, strong and lasting white head. Aroma is malt, quite bready, yeast bit sulphury, some herbal hops. Taste is moderate sweet malt, yeast and bready dry finish. Light to moderate grassy noble bitterness. Light to moderate bodied, medium carbonation. The least hoppy and bitter pilsner I’ve tried in 3 days in Bratislava but still good.
