2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a barely transparent dark mahogany with a spotty-lacing froth of dark tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate and a touch of earthy hops and some fusels. Body starts thinner, effervescent and semi-tart with a thinner slightly lingering roasty finish. Iím guessing this is in the early stages of an infection as well as most of their other stuff.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Thanks to tytoanderso for the bottle. Deep brown pour with a huge head and good retention. Fair lacing. Strong yeasty aroma with a bit of chocolate and malt barely making their presence known. Taste of chocolate and coffee, but itís watery for the style. Some bitterness to the finish, with the ever-present yeasty overtones. Not one of my favorites.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from whoever stuffed my cooler full of these beers at RBSG: Pours a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma, roasty, chocolate, and coffee, more roasted malts than anything though. Flavor, very roasty, some chocolate, nutty, almost a harsh bitterness to it. Wouldnít call it a sweet stout straight off, some coffee notes on the finish. Nothing special, but itís solid.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle given to me by Sliffy! - Thanks Dan! - Pours dark brown with a short tan head and a little lace. Lots of roasted malts in the aroma, a little coffee and just a hint of chocolate. Flavor is roasty mostly but there is some element of fake chocolate here that I have trouble getting past. A touch of coffee there too but a little tartness keeps me from really liking it too. Palate seems a touch on the fizzy side. Drinkable but really thatís about the extent of it..

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours dark brown with small head. Its like an almost there stout. it has a little of what your looking for in a stout, but not enough. Not bad though.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(bottle, thanks Philsner) Pours dark with a very small tan head. Aroma is heavy on coffee and chocolate. Flavor contains a lot of coffee and the beer finishes roasty.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
[Bottle, thanks Philsner] Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malt and fairly strongly of coffee. Flavor is a little strange up front--unusual and I canít figure out what it is-- however this quickly changes to coffee, which dominates the drink. Medium-thin body with a fairly long finish. Another beer that is drinkable, but just not very complex and overpowering with coffee.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours to a really deep brown body with a thin creamy light khaki head. Nice lacing. The aroma is extremely vibrant with dark chocolate covered espresso beans. The flavor is tart coffee and chocolate malt with sour lactic acid. The sour acidic palate doesnít fit well. The beer is simply flawed as this is not that old.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Dark black body with a large rocky tan head. Roasted malt and chocolate aroma. Sweet smoke and chocolate flavor with a roasted malt and caramel background, fades into a burnt malt ending.
