3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours clear amber with good head and great lacing. Aroma is floral and grassy. Taste is grassy, resiny hops with not much malt balance, and a dry earthy finish with a mildly sharp, short-lived bitterness. Palate is medium bodied. This had a uniquely hop-heavy taste without being a bitterness bomb, but overall it wasnít a smashing success for me.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. Poured fiery sunset orange with a shorter-lived whitish head. The aroma picked up zesty orange and herbal hoppage over sweet caramel and bready malts.. smelled like it was going to be very enjoyable. The flavor found semi-sweet caramel, biscuity notes, and a kiss of honey at the core, with tangy orange zest and peppery hops around.. finished a bit sharp over sweet, tasty malts. Light-medium bodied and probably not as fresh as it once was.. very good components, and Iíll gladly try it again.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle pours a clear orange amber color with a small off-whte head but good lacing. Smells of wet grass. Aroma is mostly fruity hops (grapefruit, and melon) but there is also some green tea and enough of a caramel malt backbone for balance. Taste is mildly bitter with a long dry finish. Body is medium with average carbonation. I like this one better cold than after it has warmed up a bit. Another decent beer from a brewery I respect, but not one of the top wet-hopped IPAs.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear medium copper-colored pour with little to no head. Big citrus/grassy hop aroma. Taste has some caramel malt undertones with lots of grapefruit/citrus hop flavor with minimal bitterness. Quite nice.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle from drake party center, Kalamazoo mi. Pour is hazy thick looking coppery brown that is the same hue of brown as iced tea with lemon. Head is white, started high upon pour and settled to a thin sudsy layer. Typical (but amazing) fragrances of a beer of this sort. First you get smells of sweet floral and citrus hops then once the beer settles an lingering, malty and salty scent mixes in. Average carbonation and solid mouth feel that's a bit Effervescent. Taste has elements of floral hops and a maltiness that is like cucumber and melon. It's a pleasant, refreshing and a well done mix of flavors that have no big surprises except for the melon quality. Finish is atypical as its just slightly dry but really really clean.

Bottle shared by drabmuh. Thanks Matt.
The beer is copper orange with an off white head that leaves a decent amount of lacing on the glass. The aroma offers some fruit, hops, Rain. Ok aroma. The flavor is alright. Hops with a touch of fruit and a sturdy malt backbone. Fairly light bodied with solid carbonation. Lingering aftertastes blend fruit, hops, subtle yeast, malt, bread. Overall, this was drinkable and ok, but needs a few tweaks to move up the ranks in a very competitive style.

Gold with very small white head. Per the title - fresh hops on the nose. Taste - what do you know, fresh hops as well. Citrusy-grapefruit hop flavor. Some decent caramel malt base. Long lasting hoppy finish. A solid IPA.
