COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed to drink long winter sessions of our favorite card game. Extensive dry hopping combined with a formidable malt bill creates the hoppiest beer in Redwood County!

I think this is a really nice APA. Aromas of soapy hops and caramel. Flavors are bitter and tangy citrus hops with a nice malty backbone. Very nice.

Pours clear golden copper with of white head. The aroma is earthy citrus hops and toasted grains. The flavor is somewhat muted toasted grain with a rich very dry earthy pine floral hop thing that is peculiar. Decent brew but not quite all there.

Bottle from Woodmans in Waukesha. Pours an unclear amber color with a faint white head. Aroma has pine and caramel, and more toasty, caramelly malt. Taste is of sweet caramel, faint pine and a lot of resin. Medium bodied and fairly thick for a pale. Shrug? Not the type of take on the style that is enjoyable.

Bottle - Pours clear light amber with a foamy off-white head. Nose is lightly sweet toasted malt, lots of pine, herbal hops, and a bit of spicy grassiness. Taste is more dry toasted bread malt, herbal and pine hops, and a spicy, bitter, drying note on the finish. Some caramel and butterscotch notes, too. Smooth and creamy. This was a little dry for my tastes initially, but it grew on me as I worked my way through the bottle. Pretty good stuff.

Sheep Head is a nice IPA. The hop profile is delightful and the malt balance is prominent, but not overpowering.

12 oz. bottle that I picked up in Wisconsin on my way out to Yellowstone. Pours a clear amber with a think tan head that dissipates by the second sip and leaves little lace. Pleasant aroma of sweet malt and overripe orange. The flavir begins with sweet malt and is followed by a combination of overripe orange and bitter orange pith. Mild-moderate bitterness at the finish. Dries out just a bit towards the end as well. Medium bodied.

Nice dark orange pour with a white head. Aroma is catty hops and a bit of resin. Flavor is sharply bitter, but not unpleasant. Good malt bill. Resinous and pungent. Pretty decent, but I have no idea why this is 7.7%

Heathery herbal nose leading into a very tinny flavor. Palate is crisp but not intriguing. Hops are noticeable throughout, but hardly dominant.

Iím sure this beer is past its prime, but I have no mercy in rating if thereís no best-by date on the bottle. Wish more brewers would do this. Pours a dirty orange with no head and not much lacing. Aroma is caramel and sour yeast. Taste is a yeast bomb, then some funky malt, then a moderately bitter finish that dries out. From the other reviews, this was likely a bad batch or old bottle. Just noticed itís a winter seasonal, so itís probably at least 8-9 months old. Hops are a mere afterthought, making me think somethingís not right here... Iíll finish the bottle, but only because the other Brau Brothers bottle I just opened was spoiled as well and Iím not pouring two bottles down the drain in a single night. Get it together, people.

Bottle at yespr. Cloudy orange coloured with a small off-white head. Sweet and fruity aroma of hops, pine needles and basil. Sweet and fruity flavour of caramel, hops and pine needles. Dry hoppy finish.
