From a 12 oz bottle into a glass. Nice copperish color with a nice malty nose. The taste (like the aroma) started very malty but ended with a nice hop kick similar to an IPA.

12oz bottle at the Marq VII. Pours a reddish amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is hoppy, more pine than citrus. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, bread, pine hops, with a sharp, bitter finish. Just ok.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 hopdog (7043) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 3, 2012
12oz bottle. Poured a clear amberish color with an off white head. Aromas of rotten citrus rinds, floral, and toast. Tastes of citrus (not the rotten kind in the aromas), some caramel, and toasty.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 ccex (249) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 30, 2011
Pours a clear reddish amber with a small white head. Nose is full of floral and citrus hops. Upon my first whiff I thought that this might be as great as my favorite 3 Floyds IPAs, but the aroma isn’t as complex or overhopped. Taste is only slightly bitter. Quite easy to drink, with slight carbonation. A delight to find, and one I’ll pick up again the next time I travel to Minnesota.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 GhostFace (269) - Wisconsin, USA - DEC 24, 2011
bottle pour. copper in color with a thin off white head. aroma is of caramel malt and spicy hops. on the lighter side of medium bodied. flavor is kind if weak, more malty than hoppy. thought it’d bring a little more to the table from the appearance/aroma. not a bad brew by any means.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Gooney (297) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 3, 2011
12 oz bottle - Pours orange with a bubbly white head. A bit floral hoppy, but doesn’t live up to the description. There must not be any other hoppy beers in Redwood County. I doubt there are any redwoods, either.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Pailhead (3435) - Plymouth, Michigan, USA - OCT 18, 2011
Bottle: The aroma is heavy on caramel along with a touch of fruit and minimal hoppiness. It pours a transparent amber with a one finger orange-tinged off-white head that quickly fades to a soapy ring around the edges of the glass. Spotty lacing is left behind. The flavor starts with moderate caramel with some lighter fruit notes. The finish has some muted grapefruit notes. The hops are dull enough that I assume this probably isn’t the freshest bottle. Medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel. Overall, not terrible...but not what I want in an APA. The hops are just too dull.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 fbenz (22) - East Bethel, Minnesota, USA - SEP 25, 2011
I’m not getting much aroma but it is a nice cooper color. Flavor is a pretty light roasted malt with a slight bitterness on the finish. Its a pretty good beer.
