COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in February of 2004, this bottle-conditioned Abbey-style ale is finally ready! Tart with notes of citrus and champagne, it remains full-bodied yet very approachable.

Poured from a growler so like MMD I have to protest. This was a soured ,gone bad brew that should have been left in the drain where it belongs

Says bottle-conditioned, but it was served from a growler which, if you want to stretch things, could certainly be considered a bottle of sorts. Tragically, a vague witticism regarding the type of serving container was the best thing about this beer. Nose light sugars, bit of orange peel-esque spice and fruit. Flavor is quite sour and musty, very little spice if any, no real tripel characters. If it hadn’t been served from a fresh growler by the brewer at a festival, I’d have assumed it was horribly infected. As it was, it’s not a good tripel.
