It’s dark mahogany-red with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel. chocolate, nuts and roasted malt. The flavor has a light to moderate sweetness with lovely notes of nuts, caramel, roasted malt, milk chocolate and a little burnt sugar towards the end - a fantastic dunkel!

Bittersweet, rather light. Complex, grains, burned sugar, a hint of soot. A bit on the sweet side.

(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a medium-sized tanned foamy head. Toast-malty aroma with notes of caramel, bread crusts and herbal hops and a spicy touch of ginger and mint. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a pleasantly matured carbonation. Toasty malt-character with notes of caramel, nuts and herbal accents; sweet-bitter and toasty finish with well-blended hoppy notes. 26.XI.11

Bottle: Clear, ruby-amber coloured, small and stable off-white head, clean - slightly restrained - sweetish-caramelly nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft and medium bodied; nutty aromas in the slightly lingering caramelly/dark-malty finsh, accompanied by a delicate bitterness. Good, well crafted Dunkel.....

It pours a pretty standard dunkel color. the head dissipates a bit quickly with small spots of lacing.
The smell is pretty good: light hops, doughy bread, brown sugar, cocoa, dark fruit, and a hint of roastiness.
The flavor is perhaps sweeter than most. It almost has the taste of spices. It has a rich caramel flavor along with some earthiness from the hops.
I’m not as in tune to the sweeter dunkles but this one is pretty good.

Bottle: Aroma is light sweet, malty, notes of caramel. Flavor is also malty, light roasty, caramel and a light butter, light roasty finish.

Amber coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, sweet caramel nose. Mild roasty malt, caramel and dried fruits with notes of plums near the end. Simple and ok dunkel.

Poured an amber-red-brown clear body with a thick slightly off white head that took its time to go away. The nose is sweetish, caramel and fig jam. The taste is nice, sweetish again and malty, some fruitiness, plums? Very weak roasty notes, vague herbal bitterness (there almost isn’t any. Drinkable and refreshing simple dunkel.

Reddish coloured pleasant Dunkel.Nice combination of flavours with nutty undertones.

On tap at the brewery Sweet malt and significantly perfumed aroma (bottled sample had a unfortunate metallic note also).
Redish chestnut color,creamy head with lace.
Starts off sweet sugary with bitterhop on top,after that roasted, chocolaty and perfumed notes are evident.
Sizzling mouthfeel and a medium to light body.
Aromatic aftertaste with peppery
and nutty notes.
Fresh and flavorfull without being overpowering, very nice.
