COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle: Clear, deep golden, stable and creamy white layer, sweet grainy nose with a slight caramelly touch, shy herbal hops underneath; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, hardly medium bodied; sweet grainy finish with a slightly increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. Brave brew, absolutely not exciting…

MoritzF (7342) - Bochum, GERMANY - NOV 30, 2011
(bottle) Clear, deep golden to light-amber colour with a big and slightly tanned foamy head. Moderately sweet (cara-)malty aroma with bready and nutty notes and a tinge of herbal hops and barnyard. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Mildly cara-malty and bready base with present herbal accents; medium-dry sweet-bitter finish. Just a nice and easy-going Märzen, could have had a bit more body. 13.XI.11

500ml bottle (One Pint, Helsinki, Oktoberfest 2008) - sip.
Orange. Very little aroma. Malty and refreshing body. Bucket-loads of esters, seems brewed at high temperatures. Marzen is not my favourite style, but it is a very drinkable lager.

(Bottle at One Pint Pub, Helsinki, on 2008-12-05) Reddish brown and clear. Medium sized white hed. Malty and slightly hoppy nose. Dry, medium bodied palate with medium carbonation. Some malts, sweetness, suprising amount of bitterness and some saltiness in taste.
