Vom fass at the brewery. Legit kellerbier aroma, good musty grain and grass mix, light yeastiness, slightly spicy, light vanilla, lots of stuff going on here, amongst them a bit of alcohol that is slightly annoying. Taste is lemony, light boozy grainy notes, lacks the complexity flavor-wise of some of the others. Palate is light, a bit overcarbed, and slightly "boozy" (all in relative terms of course). OK.

Leicht getreidig mit ein wenig Vanille, dazu Malz und ordentlicher Süffigkeit. Nicht wirklich bitter, aber dafür recht einfach zu trinken. Genau im Schnitt.

Bottle from Landbierparadies. Pours out in a light hazy golden-light amber colour with airy steady head and medium body. Aroma of nuts, straw and hops. Taste of mild hops, grains, straw, flowers, hay, dust and basement. Grainy finish. Not bad.

Bottle shared by Dutchdrebus @ weekly tasting. Hazy pale yellow color, medium sized white head. Aroma of malts, slightly citrussy fruits and lightly grassy. Tastes about the same: lightly malts, a slight citrussy fruity touch and lightly grassy and bitter. Average to medium body and carbonation.

Bottle @ home. Pale yellow colour with a medium to big sized white head. Smells grains, malts. Tastes like a soft pilsener.. Decent kellerbeer basicly. Some malts, some grains, easily drinkable, soft carbo.

Bottle looks simple, a bit premium-like. Beer in the glass zippy, modest cloudy, nice head. Starts malty-spicy, a bit sourish, but not too much. Finish with some interesting fruity hints of apricot. Not bad!

TAR (2506) - Lafayette, Colorado, USA - MAR 13, 2013
Draught at Eichhorn in Dörfleins, October 2009: Straw yellow. Voluminous dollop of whipped foam. Fresh floral and herbaceous aromatics are accompanied by cracker dough, aniseed, and deeply fragrant lemon. Soft carbonation. Firm body. Sharp and spicy hop bitterness swiftly merges with sweet and crackery toasty malt and underlying caramelized sugars. Minerals lend scrubbing action and beautifully embrace the juicy backdrop which is chock full of invigorating lemony acids. Malt character is predominantly wafery and dry, yet brings ample softness, textural detail and depth as well. Distant haylike suggestions. Finishes cleanly and crisply mineralic, with a flash of cracker dough highlighting the fresh flowery hoppiness and ongoing lemony tang. A polished kellerbier with nice depth and balance.
