Bottle @ Bierzwerg.de. Pours cloudy golden with a creamy white head and lacings. Grassy and grainy nose and flavor. Medium bodied. Quite rough and unrefined. Bitter finish.

bottle thanks to bierkoning. poured gold with a white fluffy head. aroma and flavor were citrus and spent grain. body was light and fizzy.

My Bottom Line :
This pillowy blond lager lets itself be drunk, sharing delicate spicy hops within deliciously well-rounded pils malts.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A healthy head of foam covers the misty pale gold.
-This tastes like a softer, unfiltered version of their Pils... which is not a bad thing at all, mind you.
-Hop bitterness is mild, as are the lasting malt flavors. This finish could use some more bite.
-These guys have really got the mouthfeels down; always soft effervescence, nicely subtle touches of residual sugars, all perfectly cohesive.
-The pils malt flavors could be a tad better expressed (see Held Bräu’s Helles for those, for example), but they provide plenty of enjoyment nonetheless.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Aroma of grain, vegetable, some faint citrus. Flavor is the same minus the vegetable. Light, fizzy body. Overall...ok.

Herber und voller Antrunk mit passenden Hopfennoten. Süßlich, gerstig, hellmalzig und gewürzig. Weiter süß, die Würze wird intensiver. Ebenso der feine Hopfen, der sich am Schluss aromatisch zeigt. Dabei äußerst süffig. 11/11/12/11//11

From tap in Steinkrug @ the brewery. Very malty roastbitter flavorwith grassy hops. Roast lingering on in the aftertaste. No specific aroma, but a lot of flavor! Bottle, bought at the brewery, enjoyed @ home. This bottle proved to be quite different from the tap beer. Blonde. Soft grassy, almost herbal aroma with hay. Firm grassy hopbitter flavor. Medium bodied. Well balanced.

It’s hazy golden with a white, creamy head. The aroma is mild with notes of malt, bread and fruit. The flavour is slightly sweet with notes of malt, bread, light fruit and the finish is slightly dry. It’s very easy to drink.

Clear golden with a medium white head. Sweet malty aroma with grainy accents. Sweet malty flavour with grainy and caramel notes. Finished bitter from the fresh hops.

Ceramic mug. Fruity hop aroma. Fresh, juicy character. Toasty malt accent up front and quite dry in the finish. On the surface nothing special, but it is so quaffable and balanced you don’t think about it, you just drink it.

Draft @ brewpub. In kurg, has lasting small white cap, appears golden. Metallic aroma is mild and subdued. The flavors are also a little metallic. In spite of the metallic notes, it’s very drinkable, and has good hops, a bit peppery, and has a dry finish.
