WillemsUrenkel (804) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - JAN 15, 2014
0,5 l bottle with a good looking label art work. Darkest red brown in the glass, mighty tanned head. Fermented fruit and malt on the nose. Starts sweet smoky, very sweet. Banana and fruits with yeast. Mid alcoholic. Later lower sweetness, more resin, a little bit malty. Sticky. But good. Thanks to kappldav123 for that bottle.

3fourths (8465) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 12, 2013
Cinnamon apple spice, brown sugar, banana and fruit cake nose with suggestions of cognac and apple brandy. Rich and savory, medium to full body, lively carbonation, high acidity, fluffy and full, bready, fruity and well balanced. Salty, sweet, phenolic, robust wheat, clove and pepper. Grandma’s baked apple cobbler in a glass. From bottle best by September 2014.

Ernest (6542) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 15, 2013
Bottle. Head is initially large, frothy/creamy, light brown, fully lasting. Body is dark brown. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain/nuts, caramel, chocolate), lightly to moderately yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of banana, clove, blackberry, brown sugar. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium to full body, velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly to moderately alcoholic. Another wonderful beer from Simon...very nice variety in the nose, nicely balanced, velvety, lasting head, etc. Pretty difficult not to like.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Not a bad one but quite simple with some aroma of malt and maybe some coffee. For 7 abv very easy to drink, quite nice in taste but not that delicious to hit the points hard.

McTapps (5169) - Ruhrcity, GERMANY - JAN 5, 2013
Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Deep black in colour with a creamy and steady head. Smooth body. Nose of rich malt. Taste of dark grains, bitter roasted nuts, wheat, dark / brown bread and malt. Very delicious, suits perfectly the winter season.

bottle, chez mowbeer. average shade of brown with a lingering off-white head; burnt hay and caramel aroma; hints of coco pops and watered down schnapps; reasonable but a sub par example of the style

0,5 l bottle, Sörspecialista.hu, Budapest
Cloudy murky brown beer with a small creamy tan head that stays on the surface till the end of the slips. Lurking fruity bananas behind the roasted character, molasses and earth. Easy drinkable, not an owerpowered alcohol, light fruits and cappuccino like roasted character. Fruity aftertaste with some caramel, molasses.

inbirraveritas (1300) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 23, 2011
