0,5 l bottle from local dursty, best before 10/8/2015. Very murky, luscious, orangeish yellow with a huge, foamy, stable, white head. Pleasant aroma of banana, clove, honeydew and vanilla with hints of green apple. Sweetish taste of banana, clove and hints of green apple. Short, only slightly bitter but a bit sourish and watery finish. Medium body, rather smooth but a bit watery, average carbonation. Nice and solid Weizen, maybe a bit too watery.

Bottle @ home. Pours a hazy yellow to amber color and a large frothy off white head. Nose has clove, ripe banana, wheat, vanilla and toffee, toast, some metal. Dry texture with sharp carbonation. Quite bland and short lived flavors with hints of band-aid among clove, wheat, metal & toast.

Goryczki brak.

Bottled. Hazy amber, mid sized head. Huge bubblegum and sassafras aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded, spritzy mouthfeel. Dominated by bandaid, notes of banana. Minimal bitterness.

Fruity banana, with lots of clove, prune, toast. Flavour is soft, with fruit, yeast, some spice. Not bad.

Bottle. Sweet aroma, banana candies and a little clove. Hazy dark golden; loose white head. Has that juicy tangy mouth-rinsing weissbier thing going on. Billows up in the mouth. Refreshing, perhaps a little watery.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2014 NOTE: I drank the Brauerei Simon Weissbier Hell, 0.5 liter can (label looks very similar but says ’Hell’, so maybe different than this pictured beer) Nice-looking beer, rich yellow, starts with a medium, frothy head. tight foam, hazy. Typical wheat bear nose, but not as ’wheaty’ smelling as some WiessBiers. bready, yeasty and a bit herbal. cloves, ginger, tobacco. Medium-light on the palate. creamy/oily, smooth and refreshing. A little bit explosive and slightly robust. Tart and lightly pugent. A bit citrusy, hints of banana and maybe anise, with a decent follow-through. some fruitness (some kind of tropical fruit flavor, but not sweetness), cloves/licorice, peppery, citrus, some lingering flavors that coat your mouth, but also a little watery. above average. not as impactful as some weissbier, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Bottle@Home. Nothing out of the ordinary but well done Weizen. Refreshing, flavourful, nice bananas.
