On tap at Germaniko, Thessaloniki: Deep orange colour, with big white/beige head. Aroma of banana, yeast, wheat and orange. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Overall, a very good weiss beer!

Dieses Weizen hat eine mittelmäßige Schaumkrone, der Körper ist eher dunkel, also bräunlich-trüb. Es riecht weizig-hefig. Geschmacklich dunkel-süß-weizig, hefig-fruchtig. Lecker gefällt mir besser als das Spezial. Fazit: Leckeres, frisches und nicht zu leichtes Weissbier.

500ml bottle from Bierzwerg. Dark brown colour with medium head. Aroma yeast, wheat. Flavour is yeast, wheat, sweet.

Bottle @ Bierzwerg.de. Pours cloudy golden with a small white head. Vague banana, grains and wheat. Medium bodied. A bit of paper. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Medium amber with a large white head. Aroma is sweet caramel. Flavour is chocolate caramel some fruit and wheat. Finish is sweet and seems to strengthen in texture on the lips.

A dark brown beer with a medium and blond head. Aroma is sweet and malty, toffee and some carnation and roastiness and even hint of syrup. Taste is dark malty, wheatish sourness and hint of spicyness. Quite light body, nice carbonation, typical weizen. Quite sweet beer and not so typical dunkelweizen’s aroma and flavour, but recognizable for weizen, anyway. Tastefull and positive surprise.

Fruchtiger, etwas kaffeartiger Geruch. Hefiger, etwas säuerlicher Antrunk. Das Bier wird zum Mittelteil würziger und vollmundiger, dabei kommt auch eine gewisse Fruchtigkeit auf, die aber nicht lange hält. Dagegen spielt die säuerliche Hefigkeit auch im Abgang noch eine Rolle, wobei die Säuerlichkeit inzwischen durch eine dezente Süße ersetzt wurde. Keinesfalls schlecht, es fehlt das gewisse Etwas.
