Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Starts strong, spicy-malty, a bit wheaty. Modest sourish background. Finish still strong, modest dry, well balanced. Quite drinkable. Nice!

Light amber color. Both aroma and flavor have some malt and cereals; the body is soft and with light residual sugars. Correct bitterness. Not bad.

Gutes Bier! Test vom 28.1.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,11,12,12,12,12 - 11,75

Bottle. Light toffee malt and grass hops aroma. Clear golden yellow color with moderate head. Very lightly sweet barley malt and moderately bitter hay hops flavor. Decent for what’s there - just isn’t much.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear, deep golden colour, large white head. Malty-herbal nose. Full-bodied, malty base with lots of herbs and more herbal aromatic hops, shy hints of vanilla and fir tree, also dark honey. Very slightly fruity. Lingering finish.

Draft @ Sandkerwa. Beige head is thick, very thick, can feel it in my mouth. the color is copper. Aroma is mild, bready with toffee. The palate is thick, smooth. Very good, dry Franconian style festbier, a far cry from the sweeter Munchen ones. Soft gentle flavors with very dry hoppy finish that has lots of wood and grain husks. Total Franconia.
