Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Hazy pale amber, incredibly firm rocky head. Aroma of hay with a whiff of smoke. Dry with medium body. Soft, yet really firm. Doughy and fruity, mildly smoky with just the desired amount of butter. Deep, complex character, yet mild and drinkable. Growing late bitterness. A laid back, perfectly balanced beer displaying the best of Franconian craftmanship.

Bottle. Cloudy messing colour, a little floculation, huge rocky golden head. Wonderfull spicy aroma: Honey, flowers, grassy hops. Good chewy body, honeyish malt, light salty edges, big grassy and aromatic hop notes. Sparkly smooth mothfeel. Yeasty fruit and armatic hoppy aftertaste. Lovely moreish beer.

Bottle @ Mega Bavarian Beer Tasting in Schlitz. Clear golden orange appearance with a white head. Quite floral, potpourri, citrusy, a bit chalky aroma. Tangy orange citrusy, dandelion, floral yeasty, fairly noble hoppy flavor.

Umgespundet at Akkurat, Stockholm. As the beer is served in a half liter glass and not in a typical Stein kruus on could enoy the fine white head but you also see that it is quite clowdy (as a keller bier should be) but I got the last of the cask. Small but fine nobel hop arom. Malty with a high bitterness for a Keller bier but still low compared to usual lager. Big drinkabillity.

Bottled. Amber colour with a mediumsized slightly off-white foamy head that leaves a rich lace. Aroma is sweet malts, some grains, mild toasted toffeeish notes as well as some slight hay and grass. Flavour is rather similar, but nicely balanced. A quite bodied beer. Pleasant.

Euro2-Flasche(gekauft beim Brauer in Merkendorf): Deep golden, hazy, big and absolutely stable white head; grains, grassy hops and a touch of yeast in the nose; very soft, almost medium bodied, moderate bitter-sweet flavour; lingering and smooth bitter-sweet finish, accompanied by traces of yeast. A well crafted franconian brew of very decent quality…

(Bottle, 0.5 l, at One Pint Pub, 20130509) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, grain and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, herbalness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was herbal and bitter. A good zwickel.

Gravity cask at Akkurat. Pours golden with a big creamy head. Sweet fruity malty, very smooth mouthfeel.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours hazy orange in color with a whitish head. Hay and grains in aroma mostly. Some sweet malty tones in taste, a bit of hay also. Has got a soft and smooth mouthfeel, and I do like the hay and grainy notes in this brew. Slightly bitter and sweet with some butterscotch and toasted bready notes in aftertaste. Tasty and refreshing atleast.

(bottle) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a blond and tall foamy head. Yeasty and grainy pale malty aroma with subtle fruity notes, a tinge of barnyard and spicy herbal hops. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Soft pale malty and delicately grainy base with yeasty notes and a present spicy herbal hops character; quite dry and bitter hoppy finish with an assertive herbal tail. Fresh and well-crafted Kellerbier with Märzen strength. 05.V.12
