Dark, orange-golden with a dense, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, grain, citrus and it has a slightly herbal touch. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of grain, malt, citrus and light alcohol. It’s a nice märzen.

Bottle. Clear deep golden colour with solid head. Grainy aroma with a touch of grassy hops. Bit mushy malt backbone, and seemingly low on the Münich malt but nevertheless a pretty solid Festbier without flaws.

Draught. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is grassy, cooked vegetables, some malts and mild saltwatery notes. Flavour is quite the same with the grass and hops being the strongest components.

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Pours out in a clear dark golden colour with a rich rocky white foam. malty aroma of grass, hay, nuts and white bread. Flavour of straw, nuts and clean noble hops Medium to light bodied with a smooth yet lively mouthfeel. Finishes rather clean, yet soft of spicy and grassy hops with notes of straw and white bread.

Bottled: Aroma with grainy malt and herbal hop notes. Light honey notes. Golden color with foamy head. Flavor is light sweet and intensive malty. Notes of grain, toast and some roasted malt. Pithy and intensive. Some fruitiness and aroma hop. Herbal hoppy, moderate bitter end. Intensive, very nice märzen.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 4 Oct) Pale amber colour, remarkably clear, with white frothy head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, toast and apricots. Full, malty taste with caramel, dark fruit and dark rye bread. Slightly sweet. Metallic, bitter finish. Medium to full body. Lots of character without straying too far from the middle of the road.
