Amber color with a very thin white head. Grassy aroma, hints of hops. Bittersweet flavor and quite crispy. Finish was long and spicy. mouthfeel is refreshing.

Bottle from Zly Casy Pivoteka, Prague. Clear golden beer with a decent offwhite head. Malty papery aroma, fruity, grapes, apples, some hay. Malty bready flavor, caramel, cardboard notes, grassy hops. Not a favorite.

TAR (2506) - Lafayette, Colorado, USA - DEC 9, 2013
Bottle, best by May 2014, consumed in late Nov, 2013: Coppery golden. Minuscule foam produces a wispy collar of small bubbles. Dull notes of wort and wet cereals comprise the aroma, along with a trace of mildew, fruity esters, apple, soap/detergent, and some medicine. Scant carbonation. Muddled, astringently yeasty and unclean from the get-go, with notes of dough and mildew. Grainy malt exacerbates the dirtiness with a starkness which sucks the palate dry. Fruity twang overexerts itself and detrimentally affects drinkability. Poorly hidden alcohol and the poorly defined malt comes off as lifeless and spent-grainlike. Finishes vaguely nutty and toffeeish, but poorly attenuated, with weighty sugars running rampant due to nonexistent hoppiness. Lifeless, sloppy, and unclean. Seemingly industrial. Not a fan.

knutole (75) - Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - NOV 23, 2013
smells quite neutral, amber colour, carbonisation very low (normal for this type of beer), absolutely no foam, appearance therefore not very appetizing; taste is hoppy and a bit grassy, to my surprise it’s quite refreshing, the bitterness transforms in the end to a quite strong sweetness, a bit of caramel and fruity. Indeed not bad. Very drinkable beer

Golden color, small white head. Aroma is very soft, some malt notes, bread, fruit notes. Taste is bread and malt, a bit watery. Medium body, soft carbonation. Highly drinkable.

Sehr langer Nachtrunk. - Sehr schönes Ungespundetes, auch ohne Hefearomen.

From the wooden barrel at the brewery tap. It’s a malty kellerbier. No huge hop. Plain but very drinkable and thirst quenching after the 50 min cycle from Spezial Keller. Some cereal on the aroma. Ok. Fresh I mean I saw the barrel being tapped. Decent if not too exciting.
