(7/2/08) Bottle at the brewpub in Merkendorf. Cloudy orange color. Aroma is quite estery with some banana and some light clove notes. Sweetish wheaty flavor with some fruitiness and light tart hints. Medium-bodied.

On draught at the brewpub. Cloudy dark yellow/orange colour with big creamy head. Good estery aroma with red apples and banana. Nicely carbonated, which gives a good mouthfeel, yet flavourwise not that pronounced. There are phenols and esters at medium levels.

Hazy, golden with a huge, dense and creamy head. The aroma has sweetness and notes of banana, clove, wheat and the flavour has sweetness, notes of banana, clove and wheat. It’s a nice and harmonic weiss, easy to enjoy and drink.

Bottled: Sweet malty and intensive fruity nose. Big notes of banana and yeast. Hazy yellow color, light orange with a huge creamy head. Flavor is sweet and astringent, wheaty, light fruity and with an intensive clove note. Remarkable acid base. Astringent, marginally bitter but quite dry finish. Tasty, very fruity wheat.
