Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, light hoppy, citrus notes, soap notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091221]

Bottle. The head is white and the body yellow-golden. Not very tasty a little bit of malt but more like water. I don´t need this one again, it needs more flavour.

Rated at the brewery/restaurant Nov 2011. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, husks), lightly hoppy (herbs), with light notes of soap, metal, and sulfur. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, husky. Light body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Truly sad. Had high hopes here based on my friends’ good experience two years prior, but none of the lagers were any good on this day (the weissbier was good at least). Off notes abound here, and the finish was quite grainy. Very disappointing.

Bottle, at Plan B. A big, off-white to white head sits on top of a clear, golden body. Pale malts, fruityness and a nice grassy and flowery touch on the nose. The flavor has fruityness, pale malts, freshly mown grass and bitterness. The bitterness lingers. Dry, medium body and a bit too much carbonation, but not at disturbing levels. A very well brewed lager. 110527

Bottle. Pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malt, hay, hop. Flavour is sweet, malt, hay, hop. medium body. Ordinary beer.

At a cafe in Wunderburg, Bamberg 14/07/2011. Golden, slightly hazy, with a decent white head and touch of carbonation. Sweetish malts, a slightly herbal edge and moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Unauffällig herber Antrunk mit extrem unspektakulären Noten, soll heißen wenig getreidig und malzig. Nichts entwickelt sich, die Aromen bleiben lasch, das Bier fad. 7/6/6/5//6

Bottle 50 cl. Clear yellow with a tall, dense and lively head leaving laces. Sweet, clean malts in the nose. Medium body with lots of sweet pale malts, carbonation is a little low while the hoppiness is very subdued. Very pleasant. 210511

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and slight cornish.sweet cornish and slight malty. Light toasted. Mild bitter and toasted finish.

Bottle at Plan B. Clear yellow coloured with a medium sized white head. Aroma of malts, hay and vegetables. Malty flavour of hay, grass and hops. Hoppy finish.

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2011 at Zur Sonne. Light hazy yellow body and a rocky white head. Aroma of malt and yeast and spruce. Lightly sweet and a nice medium bitterness.
