COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle. [thanks Søren]
Pours nice ruby-red with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has caramel, sweetness, viniousness. Light carbonation, creamy and somewhat oily mouthfeel. Flavour is malty, caramel, light toasted, sweet, dryish and with a bit of chocolate at the end.

It’s beautiful red mahogany, leaning towards copper, and the head is creamy and lasting. The aroma has notes of heavy caramel, burnt sugar. The sweet flavor has notes of caramel, dark syrup/burnt sugar, hops, dark fruits and the finish is dry. A nice one!

Bottle shared with ClubGonzo. Deep, hazy dark brown colour. Leather is very dominant in the aroma along with sharp smell of glue. Sweeter in the mouth with also leather being present here. Hint of alcohol. Light bitterness. Watery and slick mouthfeel. An interesting taste experince, but not a bad one.

EithCubes (3339) - GERMANY - DEC 13, 2011
Bottle by 31.03.2013. Nose is nutty, dusty caramel, malty with light roast and chocolate, as well as dank Fuggle and pinier hops. Beautiful deep red body seems to suck the light out of the room, head is rocky and creamy tan that laces and delights. Fat body has a little alcohol showing and overall somewhat muddled taste (in the direction of a DW). Low bitterness, medium grape and berry, very faint citrus and green leafy hops. Good wood character and sweet brown/rock candy sugar. Boom toffee. There’s a nice harmony here but it’s all pretty lifeless.

ClubGonzo (1969) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 13, 2011
Bottle from Galerie Kaufmark, Alexanderplatz, Berlin, shared with Foffern. Pours a deep coppery body, medium creamy light beige head. Nose is paint thinner, sweet malts, caramel and hints of cherries. Taste is raisins, bullion (!), alcohol, caramel and nuts. Soft carbonation. A bit strange tones there in the middle, but all in all a pretty nice scotch.

Mahogany color, hazy, with a generous head. Aroma of caramel, and strong aroma of candy sugar, light aroma of cakes. Correct body; quite good caramel flavor, with some chocolate and a very light biscuity trace; correct bitterness, leading to a rather dry finish. Average.
