COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Clear golden in colour with steady head and smooth body. The aroma is just pure IPAish, means nose of spicy hops. Taste of coriander, pepper, hops, low malt, grass and cardamon. Maybe little bit thinner than expected. Good and solid beer, definately worth its money.

Sigmund (5312) - Tau, NORWAY - DEC 21, 2014
Sampled two bottles side by side (different bottle design), first bottle with BB date 31.01.2014, second bottle with BB date 30.04.2015. First bottle is 330 ml, second bottle 355 ml. ABV of both is 5.5%. Bought at CITTI-Markt Flensburg on two different occasions. The colour of the beer is significantly darker in the old bottle, deep golden vs. very pale golden. The newest version is slightly hazier, with a somewhat better retention of the moderate to low white head. The aroma of the old version is slightly fruitier, both have mild spicy notes. The flavour is fresh, fruity and spicy in both versions (slightly fresher in the newest version, as expected). Reasonably hoppy finish (Saphir). Okay.

(BraufactuM Colonia) Bottle 355 ml at home, served into a teku, ABV 5.5% Pale golden yellow colour on the body, with a good sized, snow white head, quite thick and soapy, with good retention, leaving light lacing on the glass. Aroma has fresh grass, light citrus, tropical fruits, mango, pineapple. Nice fruity taste, again with tropical fruits, some passion fruit too now, tastes fresh. Medium thin body, good carbonation. Moderate dry palate. Not bad at all, very refreshing.

Aroma: citrus notes (pineapple, mango), honey, herbal notes. Appearance: hazy straw color, thine white head. Taste: medium bitterness (herbs and citrus), herbal notes, some malty backbone, zesty and easy drinking. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: It should be called the imperial kolsch, which means that it is really bitter, but still easy drinking and refreshing.

Lecker! 12/12/12/12

23.10.2014. 0,355l Bottle. Golden yellow unclear colour with white head. Very soft beer with smooth malty body with notes of herbs and soft grassy hops. There is also some kind of floral aromas. Soft dry aftertaste with more herbal notes. Medium body and medium bitterness. Good beer!!

PsychoGunnar (200) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 12, 2014
Insisting pale ale with a wonderful pineapple-like colour. Well hopped with german/czech hop types, like an IPA with pilsner hops. Discrete aroma which is in the same street as the taste.

3fourths (8229) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 18, 2014
From bottle. Vibrant hop aroma shows a core of German hops: lemon meringue, lemon balm, lime juice, faint pineapple and "tropical" fruit mish-mash, somewhat grassy from dry-hopping. Medium-light body, lightly sweet, highly bitter, looks and smells like Kellerpils but I understand that this is top-fermented. Hops do give off a minor cheese / sweat character but it’s not distracting from the juicy-floral-citrus quality that makes it so much fun to smell and drink. Good shape, ingredients expressed well, flavor balance in the mouth achieved.
