(bottle, 35.5cl) Clear, deep golden to amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Cara-malty and delicately bready aroma with mildly herbal and grapefruity hops. Slightly sweet and bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry cara-malt character with fruity and herbal, also a bit floral hops, leading into a dry and mildly bitter finish. Easy-going, but unspectacular Ale. 29.VI.13

Aroma is dough, caramel, mint. Taste is a weak bitterness, with somewhat metallic and buttery notes in the short finish. It was perfectly drinkable, but by no means worth the price (3 EUR for a 355ml bottle).

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2015 22oz bottle. Best by 31.05.15. Hazier orange amber color. Thin off-white head, leaving decent bits of lace. Earthy hop, caramel, mild spiciness. Kind of an amber-lager feel to it, sort of. Maybe the yeast or water? Good biscuity breadiness to the malt bill, and I donít mind the bigger maltiness here, and itís backed up with the perfect amount of hop bitterness. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation, light slick texture, but more drying in the finish (more so than the Progusta I just sampled prior). Tasty, flavorful, enjoyable malty pale ale to sip on. This was opened close to an hour ago, and up front I remember thing it was kind of malty and lager-like... But now that itís warmed up a bit and the carbonation has had time to settle (and my palate has acclimated) I seem to be enjoying it much more, now. Very solid maltier pale ale, good full body. Would be a great choice to enjoy with food.

Bottle split at JFís, big thanks to Sarah for dragging this one back for the beer boys, 13/12/14. Very lightly hazed golden topped with a moderate off white swirl. Nose is pale malt, light vegetation, caramel, faint citrics. Taste improves, caramel malt, sweet notes, hint of orange. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. So so, lacks any hop presence, comes across as a little stale and bland.
