Hopfen: Polaris, Cascade Malz: PaleAle, Pilsener, Karamellmalz What makes the vanilla-colored Palor so special is a never-before-used variety of hops called Polaris. Along with Cascade – a hop variety favored among craft brewers – it lends Palor an exceptionally refreshing flavor.

(bottle, 35.5cl) Clear, deep golden to amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Cara-malty and delicately bready aroma with mildly herbal and grapefruity hops. Slightly sweet and bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry cara-malt character with fruity and herbal, also a bit floral hops, leading into a dry and mildly bitter finish. Easy-going, but unspectacular Ale. 29.VI.13

355ml Flasche. Helle klare Bernsteinfarbe, mit feinem Schaum. Es duftet nach Hopfen, Grapefruit und Karamell. Hopfenbittere im Antrunk. Dann verbrannter Karamell. Bitteres Finish. Zu wenig fruchtig.

2/21/15. Sampled during RBWG 2015. Orange pour with a small khaki head. Light hop aroma, citrus and floral, some crackery malts. Okay flavor, doughy malts, citrus, floral. Eh.

330ml bottle - thanks OX and Dovecot Xmas party!
Slight mushroomy aroma - forest mushrooms. Slightly sticky palate - has that plasticky APA yeastiness. Orange, brief head. Classic modern IPA taste, but rougher and harsher than I prefer. No thanks, considering the other braufactum beers available in unlimited quantities.

Bottle. Amber beer with a strong head. The aroma is hopped and yeasty, and the flavour is well hopped and bitter with a yeasty element. Overall a nice well hopped beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355ml bottle. Clear copper colour with a thin white head that quickly dissipates into a lacing. Malts, caramel and floral hops. Average carbonation and medium to light body. Taste is bitter with some caramel notes and a dry finish. Overall, nice but far from being remarkable.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2015 Orange color with white head. Really dank hoppy aroma. Taste is fresh and hoppy at first and gets pretty bitter in the finish and continues in the aftertaste. Really nice, well made pale ale.

Bottle at Frankfurt Airport. Smooth copper body with big head. Nose is hoppy for sure. Taste is hoppy and sweet and cactus. Nice texture. Well balanced.
