Hopfen: Hallertauer Mittelfrüh, Citra, Magnum Malz: Pilsener, Wiener, Karamellmalz With Progusta, the types of hops used come to the fore, and harmonize perfectly with the bitter note. The hoppy aroma can be attributed to the American Citra and German Hallertauer Mittelfrüh varieties, which complement each other beautifully. The sweetness remaining after fermentation forms a nice interplay with the bitter note.

Pours a nice copper colour, with slight head. Dank nose, and very fruity in the mouth. Short, bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Hazy darker orange color, moderate head, decent lace/retention. Aroma is sweet orange with notes of caramel, grass, citrus. Medium bodied, fairly sweet, wouldn’t have guessed it to be German but it definitely doesn’t taste like the American IPAs I usually drink.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2016 Distributor rep’s contribution to a mini-tasting at Lunar Brewing Co. as a 22 oz. bottle poured to snifters, showing a hazed, orangey gold color, with a soft white layer of foam, and dots & dashes of lacing. The nose was earthy and dank, with strong herbal notes, and a late touch of ripe pit fruit. Medium bodied, with fair carbonation, the taste added a bit of sweetness, and moderate, earthy bitterness. The initial triple threat in the aroma caught me a little off guard, but finished with fair drinkability.

(Draught at Das Meisterstück, Berlin, 25 Aug 2016) Amber colour with lasting, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, citrus, mandarin and orange peel. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, orange peel, grapefruit, treacle-toffee, apricots and a generous citric, resiny bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain caramel sweetness. Tasty and well balanced IPA, with a generous hop character. Nice one.

75cl bottle split with SimonBlok. Pours a hazy orange colour with a decent off white head which diminishes to a thin layer. Aroma of orange, hops, citrus, mango, caramel. Taste is medium sweet, medium bitter woth a soft bitter finish. Notes of caramel, orange, peach, grass, hops. Texture is oily to watery, medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Very mild for a ipa in my opinion but very nice

All there for a good ipa (smell, taste, finish, mouthfeel) but nothing to make it stand out. Love it, will drink it again, but will not go looking for it.

On tap @ Sebar. Copper color, clear, thick creamy white head. Floral smell. Aroma light fuity, nice caramel/vienna. Balanced taste, a bit sugary and properly bitter. Dry finish a bit sticky and spiced. Nice hybrid.
