COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Stilbeschreibung: India Pale Ale entstand Anfang des 18. Jahrhunderts.

It’s slightly hazy bronze with a creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of citrus, exotic fruit and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes citrus, peach, caramel, and then a nice bitterness sneaks in and ends slightly dry. Well balanced and nice.

Pours clear honey amber with a hint of orange and a nice fluffy head. Huge hop aroma that makes me feel like I’m home in San Diego. Aroma is citrus, peaches, a little lemon grass and a bit of waxy nail polish remover. Smooth, creamy body that is a perfect balance of sweet and bitter. Lots of resiny citrus notes(peach, orange, pineapple) with a hot finish of booze. This beer is great all the way up to the finish. I’m getting a ton of ethyl acetate in most of BraufactuM’s brews. Food helps to cut it but damn son!

A really good IPA which can be compared to some of the good American IPAs. Beautiful clear deep golden color. Dense and good head (small bubbles). Carbonation is medium and makes the beer very smooth. Aroma is very hoppy, reminds a bit of citrus / orange, mango, hints of soil and grass. There are 3 hops in this beer. Magnum, Hallertauer Mittelfruh, Citra. The aroma doesn’t suggest mittelfruh, as it seems stronger, so my bet is it’s citra (magnum is more of a bittering type of hops). Aftertaste is very strong bitter for a few seconds, and then leaves "a trail" of light and long bitterness. Very balanced beer. Was a great surprise to find such a strong (good) IPA and made by a Germany brewery.

Weich hopfiger Beginn, leichte Herbe. 12/12/11/13/11/12

Bottle. [thanks Søren]
Completely clear amber, lovely white creamy head. Good lacings. Aroma has lovely apricot, peach, caramel, light doughy malts, some citric hops and a bit of plant sap. Medium to high carbonation, nice dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is elegant, apricot, plant sap, oranges and pine. Some slight doughy malts, apples and pineapple. Nice dry bitter finish. Very nice and very elegant IPA.

Bottle MHD 30.04.2013. Beautiful bouquet of floral and especially citric hop aromatics, huge grapefruit, with lemon and strong orange rind, light fresh bread. Juicy! Deep clear orange body with plentiful but slow carbonation and a creamy, near-Duvel level head. Taste is lightly bitter and lightly sweet, much more balanced than I’d like my IPAs, with a graceful yeast/bread component seeping out to the end. Strong apricot and perhaps mango join the other fruits in the mouth. Medium-full, velveteen body. Balance and grace are very appropriate descriptors here; Germany need more beers like this!
