Bottle: Copper coloured, quite stable fluffy lacy beige head; caramelly-fruity (almonds, dried fruits) nose with a distinctive toasted background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour; nutty-bitter finish with some fruity traces. Decent Bock, tastes a bit like a "thin" Doppelbock..........

Schöne kräftige Farbe, die Schaumkrone hält mittelmäßig-gut. Der Geruch ist malzig-alkoholisch. Der Geschmack ist für nur 6,5% recht alkoholisch, ansonsten malzig und etwas alkoholisch-süß, das mit der Zeit ins herbe geht. Im Antrunk ist das Bier noch recht mild doch im Verlauf wird der Geschmack immer kräftiger. Im Nachgeschmack alkoholisch-bitter (der Schwachpunkt des Bieres) Fazit: Guter Bock, der leider am Schluß ein bisschen uninteressanter wird. Bottle in Jena. Shiny orange-golden body - nice! Medium sized white head that went away slowly. Fruity grainy nose. Soft fruity malt carried on cheese, bit sticky. Maltiness ends up dry. Perhaps on the best example, but one of the typical ones.

Bottle looks a bit lilke a cheap beer. Beer in the glass better, zippy, nice head. Hoppy aroma. Starts strong, hoppy-dry, more and more spicy. Some alcoholic hints. Finish well balanced, still fine spicy. A good bock!

It’s bronze with a creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of malt, light alcohol and a little fruit. The flavour is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, fruit, alcohol, and the finish is dry and slightly bitter. A very boring bock.

Sehr süßer Antrunk mit mild herbem Beiton. Gewürzig-getreidig, für eine Bock deutlich zu mild. Kaum hellmalzig, dafür süß und klebrig, Der Abgang zeugt sich kurz und wenig intensiv. 9/8/8/7/6/7

Got it on draft in Erfurt, Germany. Medium head, a toasty aroma, and a subtle fruity taste. Mild flavor and a solid body. In general, just a good, solid beer, but nothing too spectacular.

Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium yellow amber color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, sugar, malty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100813]

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, 2010. Pours clear golden with a off white head. Alcohol and grain. Quite raw and unrefined. Some paper . . Medium bodied.

Bottle. Deep golden with a medium white head. The aroma is hay, cereal and toasted caramel. The flavour is toasted malt and dark fruit. Long fruity finish.
