I think this was actually my favorite of the Thuring Beer Evening. Light golden color, medium frothy head. Soft carbonation. Light grain and malt taste, a bit sweet. Medium long lasting with a light bitter kick in the end. As for a standard pils with all it needs it deserves an average rating :-)

Bottle. Blonde. Soft soapy aroma. Thinnish. Grassy soapy flavor with apple. Mediocre.

Blond color, hazy; small, creamy head. The aroma is pure corn and hay. Dry and lean mouthfeel, with just hay flavor, light metallic feeling, light honey, ordinary bitterness. Not flawed, but poor.

Wenig herbes, dafür überdurchschnittlich süßes Pils. Muffige Noten sind im Mittelteil und im Nachgeschmack deutlich erkennbar. Ein Pils wie viele andere, da wird man sich nicht lange dran erinnern. Aber wenns mal serviert wird - schlecht ist es nicht. Test vom 15.12.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,10,10,9,5,9 - 8,90

Clear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, sweet malt, light to moderate hoppy, green grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110121]

It’s golden with a white head and the aroma has notes of grain, malt, straw and the slightly sweet flavour is refreshing with notes of malt, straw and light citrus. The finish is dry and has a nice bitterness.

Clear golden with medium white head. Sweet fruity aroma with notes of malt and grain. Sweet malty flavor with grain and hay notes.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of fresh harvested grain as well as just a touch of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of bread and lighter notes of citrus, leading to a bitter finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Mild grainy and hoppy aroma. Flavour is dry biter and with a mild grainy malt note. Finish is dry and bitter.

Bottle, 4.9%. OK grainy ar. Clear, shiny yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour starts grainy with a little malt. Turns quite citric and a little bready. Hay notes also, but not that pleasant.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Aroma frutiy-dry. Taste the same. Modest fruity, modest malty, for a pilsner too "hard" I think. Not really a good beer!
