2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Caytinator (577) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - AUG 11, 2012
0.5L draught. Enjoyable, drinkable, pleasant, typical of the style, I’ve had this beer about 27 times, whenever I go to Brauhaus. It won’t win any awards, and it’s not particularly memorable, but it’s one of Brauhaus’ best, and dependably good.

Draught at the bräuhaus Cloudy blond color. Nice Weizen aroma: wheat, spices, banana, some bubblegum; quite deep. The mouthfeel is a bit dry; the wheat-spice-banana flavor is balanced, mild, with a very light biscuity touch. Medium-low bitterness. Simple but quite well brewed.

On tap at the brewpub in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Pours hazy golden color witha creamy head. Aroma was banana, cloves with some citrus. Taste was way off for this Weizen, astringent and somewhat drinkable. Palate was very strange and not great. This was a let down.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 mcdav2154 (436) - GERMANY - OCT 19, 2009
Looked like a good beer when they brought it out. Thick creamy rocky top head with a hazy golden body. Smell was average of banana and some clove with lemon peel. Taste was a bit astringent and off but still fairly drinkable. OK but this place had way better food than beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 ekstedt (4544) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 28, 2007
Draught at the brewpub. Hazy deep golden, slightly oramge, with a medium creamy head. Very fruity malt aroma, with bananas, peaches, and pineapples, along with the typical spicy yeasty notes. Medium bodied and very smooth. A little cloying in the flavour, I miss the typical acid freshness of a hefeweizen.
