3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at the bräuhaus
Cloudy light blond color. It has a very nice aroma of hops. The mouthfeel is soft, usually I prefer Helles that are a bit drier; light malt flavor, very light crispy touch, with decent hopping. Correct bitterness.
Easy but pleasant.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Very astringent beer and not appetizing. I’ll have to go back and try it again just to make sure.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: AUG 25, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Slightly hazy, golden color, with a thin but creamy white head. Bready malt aroma, a bit fruity with hints of peaches, and some herbal hops. Very smooth mouthfeel. A mild and pleasant bitterness which reminds me more of a Helles than a Pils.

on tap at the brewpub. pale golden, detergent aroma - they were doing a roaring trade at world cup time so maybe they hadn’t rinsed the glass thoroughly. reasonably bitter, metallic with a strange lemon sour finish
