Bottle, bought @ the brewery. Light amber color. Flowery buttery aroma. Flowery grassy hopbitter flavor with hints of citrus. Buttery with diacetyl. Hopbitter aftertaste with rancid butter. Low on carbon.

It’s unclear, dark golden with a grey hue and a small, white head. The aroma has light notes of butter, malt, light apple and the mouth-feel is flat. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of malt, light butter, fruit, and the finish is very dry and slightly harsh.

Koelschtrinker (7038) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 1, 2011
Super! 7/12/13/12/11/13

Kristall-König (1629) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - MAY 28, 2011
Getreidig-hefiger Geruch mit leichten Hopfenspuren. Durchaus anregend. Im Antrunk leicht süßlich, alsbald hefiger und aromatischer. Im Schluß bildet sich eine angenehme Bitternote heraus. Solide und gut. Test vom 22.12.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Grima (1572) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - MAY 19, 2011
Reddish golden yellow beer with a good, high, but only subtly durable head. The beer starts biting malty, a bit scratchy, slightly roasty. The further course is bitter, very bitter. Reminiscent of a bad IPA, which is totally covered bitter.

Bottle from Bierboutique Ölwechsel, Frankfurt. Cloudy golden with quite a bit of sediment. Bready and yeasty aroma and flavours. A bit of homebrew character. Not yet ready in my opinion.

Unclear medium orange amber color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light metalic. [20100225]

50 cL bottle, courtesy of kappldav123. Pours cloudy to hazy yellow to orange with a small white head. Aroma is vague butterish, eggs and mild malty. Light egg flavoured, bitter, grassy and subdued toasted malt presence. Dry malty finish, slowly increasing in bitterness.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts fresh, malty, a bit grasy. Becomes more and more woody, dry, the finish is definetly too floury. Should be more fruity and/or spicy. Not so good.
