Bottle, bought @ the brewery. Malt and toffee in the aroma. Malty flavor with hints of caramel, flowery hops and toffee. Chichory bitter aftertaste.

50cl bottle, BBE 05/2012. Poured clear amber with a thin white head. Aroma has woody notes, bread and caramel. Flavor very similar. High carbonation. Light bitter finish.

Bottled 50cl. Clear deep golden, light amber. Buttery nose. Medium bodied. Malt accented. Low bitterness. Diacetyl throughout. Unmemorable finish. Very poor.

(bottle) pours a clear deep amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of caramel and heavy butterscotch, with light notes of galaktoburiko, fudge and herbal hops. flavour is mostly herbal hops and sultanas, with light notes of butterscotch and a slightly resinous light-bitter finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de).Amber colour with a mediumsized off-white head, that leaves nice lace. Aroma is caramel malts, some wood, floral hops as well as some mild spices. Flavour is caramel malts, some bready malts as well as some wooden and floral hoppy notes. Balanced and quite nice.

It’s bronze with a creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of malt, metal, straw and candy-sugar. The flavour is light to moderately sweet with notes of malt, metal, straw, candy-sugar, and the finish is dry. It feels oxidated.

Dunkler Hopfenantrunk, in dem das Bier etwas muffig wirkt, dies scheint vom Hopfen auszugehen. Leicht bitter, in Teilen wässrig. Ab dem Mittelteil bitterer, der Hopfen ist im Vergleich zum Antrunk deutlich schwächer, befindet sich aber auf angenehmem Niveau. Etwas nach Seife, zusätzlich grasig. Passt. 10/10/11/11/12/11

The beer in the glass shows chestnut brown, with a high, fine creamy head. The smell is malty sweet. It starts pleasant malty, with a good spiciness, slightly bitter. The aftertaste however, is completely out of line, here comes out the absolute bitterness. But not in a negative sense, it fits in with the beer. The further course gets slightly more sweet.

Bottle from Bierboutique Ölwechsel, Frankfurt. Clear amber-copper with a medium creamy head. Malty caramel aroma and flavours, somewhat on the sweet side. Some herbal hoppiness. A good enough session beer.
