draft. clear gold with a soft, white head. soft and creamy texture with somewhat creamy carbonation, but some very strange and very offensive burnt grain flavors with accompanying twang in the malt, fizzling late into an unbelievably watery finish that leaves an oily residue of malt liquor-esque alcohols and a burnt corn syrup with the hops providing a moldy spinach leaf character. horribly dirty beer.

It’s warm golden with a light grey hue and a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, clover-flower and bread. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, flower, light fruit, bread and the finish is dry with a light bitterness – it’s refreshing and charming, and by far the best we had from the brewer.

9/9/9/12/10/10

Grima (2230) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - MAY 19, 2011
Golden yellow color with a fine flat head, which breaks down very quickly. Starts beautiful and pleasant hoppy bitter. The aftertaste is still very bitter hoppy, slightly grassy. The further course has a strong tartness. Good average Pils...

Bottle 500ml.
Clear medium to medium dark yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, straw, fruity, light to moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration, fresh and fruity. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light metalic. [20100225]

Embrouille (2835) - SWITZERLAND - FEB 12, 2010
Bottled 50cl. Clear pale golden with a decent white head. A beer with a distinct rural touch. Malt accented but still showing a good bitterness. A poor showcase of aroma hops. Not really refined but quite quaffable. Dry simple finish.

Quack-Duck (9120) - Down South, GERMANY - JAN 4, 2010
bottle, from Bierzwerg. Clear yellow colour with a mid-sized white head. Hoppy nose. Intensive malty background with rather shy hop flavours that break through in the lingering aromatic-bitter finish.

The bottle looks good, the same as the beer in the glass. Starts quite malty, hoppy notes only in the background. Becomes more and more sourish, finish also dry-dusty. For a pilsner this beer is too malty.
