50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is dry and cornish malty. Sweet, light metallic and slight cornish. Mild grassy bitterness and dryness into the finish.

bottle, delivered by the monthly beer dwarf. Clear amber colour with a large head. Malty nose. Medium- to full-bodied, solid malty base with hints of honey. Shy but nicely floral hops in the lingering finish.

Bottle: Deep golden, white lacy medium-sized head, clear; bready-barnyardy nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; quite dry bitter-nutty and malty finish. Good beer of franconian character.........

(bottle, courtesy of kappldav123 – thanks !) Clear, golden colour with a minimal off-white foamy head. Sweet and slightly nutty cara-malty aroma with traces of herbal hops and draff. Slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Dry cara-malty taste with nutty notes, leading into a dry and slightly nutty malty finish with light herbal hops. Unspectacular but easy going and not too sweet Festbier. 16.12.09

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Zippy, nice head. Starts strong, modest hoppy, a bit dry. Sourish notes in the background make the beer interesting. The finish shows malty-spicy notes. All in all well balanced. Not bad!

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, amber golden with a small, white head. Strong aroma of burned caramel. Medium body with lots of golden malts before a distinct, hoppy finish. 101106

An orange beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and lighter notes of nuts, leading to a dry quite bitter end.

Sweet and a bit like sirup.
