On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear brown colored body with a slight orange hue. Inch thick, dense and foamy, beige head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is somewhat bland with lightly sweetened caramels, touches of toast, grains, a few dark fruits, and a slight DMS note. Flavor is better. Some lightly sweetened, toasty caramels with a light grainy bread, a hint of dark fruit, and just a touch of roast. Finishes clean and dry with a light bitterness before leaving a medium length aftertaste. Medium body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, not a bad dunkel, but nothing special and somewhat bland. Balanced and easy drinking enough.

Tap @ Brewpub. Pours ruby amber with a creamy head. Sweet bread and caramel. Nutty and fruity. Medium bodied.

On-tap in the brewpub over the weekend of 23/24 Feb 2013.
Cloudy, hazy brown body: on top a full head of off-white bubbles, the head hung around too.
The aroma was malty with an orange coffee hint.
The taste was fairly sweet: malty molasses giving caramel and coffee flavours to the brew. The finish was mildy bitter, but this is a malt laden beer and the hops play second fiddle throughout.
Medium body depth and strength: an OK Dunkel.

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of light roast, toast, light burnt caramel. Flavour is light to medium-sweet, toast/burnt bread, light burnt caramel, light bitter-sweet finish. Light-bodied. Decent dunkel imo.

Draft at the brauhaus. Pours slightly hazy brown with a small off white head. Aroma of malt and light coffee. Flavour of malt, caramel, light coffee and chocolate. Light body with soft carbonation.

Light hazy brown with a beige head, nice lacings. Aroma medium malty, caramel, roasted, fruity notes. Aroma medium sweet, light+ bitter. Medium body.

Draught at the brewpub - Berlin.
Dark brown color, vero good and voluminous head, much persistant. Little bubbly aspect. Medium alcoholic and malty nose. Notes of roast word and resin. Prickly and lively taste, unusualy refreshing for a dunkel beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours dark golden, much paler than the ordinary dunkles with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma of sweet caramel. Taste is also sweet , too sweeet actually to my likings. Light dry end, sweet and sour caramel.
