Bottled at One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Cloudy yellow, creamy head. Mild banana aroma. Mid sweet, slim and elegant with creamy, spritzy mouthfeel. Flavour of unripe banana with slight notes of caramel, wet paper and mustar seeds. Drier, somewhat citric finish. Refreshing.

Draught at the Schweinfurt Brauhaus on Markt
Cloudy blond color; compact head. The aroma is a bit spicy, and also it reminds me the plastic Christmas tree I used to have. Soft mouthfeel, but the flavor is a bit out of control: dirty water, plastic, some wheat, very light spices; the bitterness is low. Not very good.

Bottled (HBF2011, BB 09/2011)
Hazy yellow color, big cloudy, white head. Bubblegummy, a bit spicey aroma. Light to medium bodied. Crisp carbonation. Light citrus, banana in the flavor. Quicky vanishing taste. Too light although then refreshing. Boring?

Soft cloudy yellow. Gentle carbonation and a level, thick head. Great aroma - banana, pear, wheat, citrus, light yeast. A light but lively palate with juicy fruitiness, wheaty crispness and a hint of yeasty character. Quality example.

Itís unclear, light-golden with a huge, white and creamy head and a wonderful fat aroma of banana, yeast and wheat. The sweet flavour has the same wonderful juicy notes of banana, but also yeast and wheat. Itís very harmonic and just like I like a weissbier to be.

These guys have a bit of trouble, the boggle was nonsense, for example. Starts ok, the grainy estery aroma is there, even if restrained. Alas itís thinner than average hefe, and with a less-than-yummy minerally aspect to it too.

(bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a massive but not very persistent foamy white head. Slightly sweet, slightly sour, moderately wheaty malt aroma with strong phenolic notes (cloves, band aid) and rather restrained fruity esters; also a touch of cardboard. Light-sweet and sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonated mouthfeel. Moderately wheaty, citrus fruity taste with a whiff of banana; a bit slim, fruity and light spicy finish. There are a lot of better ones out there.

UPDATED: SEP 20, 2005 Draught Pale yellow, cloudy beer with tenacious white head. Citrussy nose, obvious wheat, very little lactic notes. Very dry taste, very wheaty, with faint citrus flavour, bit burning, bubble gum and more citrus coming up more retronasal. Medium bodied, typical wheat slickness. Aftertaste is very bitter, nearly metallic. Another good Weizen, for the citrus lovers.
