2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MoritzF (7342) - Bochum, GERMANY - OCT 16, 2006
(draught at the brewpub) Hazy orange-golden colour with a medium-sized stable, slightly off-white foam. Slightly sweet malty, slightly worty and yeasty aroma with a shy fruity note, also with traces of herbal hops. Pretty bitter flavour for a Weizen; restrained fruit-character. Wheaty and yeasty initial taste with a fairly unbalanced bitter note; dry and wheat-malty finish with strongest bitter hop-character I have ever tasted in a Weizen (06.10.06).
