Draught at the brauhaus
Festbier (or Bockbier?), k, 5.2%
Beautiful light amber color with generous creamy head. The aroma has some impression of butter. Round mouthfeel, caramel flavor, with very light fruitiness and light butter; light residual sweetness; low bitterness.
Drinkable, but a bit off.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(draught at the brewpub) Hazy amber colour with a rather small and slightly off-white foamy head. Shy aroma, moderately sweet and yeasty fruity (apricots), also slightly worty with traces of alcohol. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Malty, yeasty and slightly worty taste with a honey-ish fruity note; medium-dry, malty and yeasty finish with pretty strong alcoholic presence. Could have been ripened and balanced better (26.09.06).
