On tap at the brewpub: Golden coloured, hazy, quite stable fluffy head; grainy, yeasty, a bit skunky nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; bitter-sweet finish with a light lemony fruitiness in the very end. No great attraction...........

On Draught at the Brauhaus, Oberhausen. (Post UFC) I drank a few of the beers here, but have lost all my notes from the visit, and this is the only one I can remotely remember anything about. A hazy yellow affair with a decent sized white head. Some hoppiness in the nose. Crisp, clean and easy drinking is all that springs to mind. The place itself is in the midst of a sprawling shopping complex in the home town of the late great Paul the psychic octopus. Probably worth a look if you’re ever at the Konig Arena.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild grassy and slight herbal. Mild citric note to the herbal grassy hops. Bitter and grassy finish.

Hazy medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, sour malt notes, light hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, hay, malty, dusty, citrus, malt sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100716]

Unclear hazy medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, spicy - herbs, moderate hoppy, citrus, lemon, flowers. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20081212]

Tap at Braughaus, Oberhausen: An decent Helles from Ruhrgebiet (The heavily industrialised region in Germany) hazy yellow with a mellow taste.

Bottle. Refreshing citric aroma. Hazy golden colour, small white head. The flavour is hefy and quite süffig like a good naturtrüb beer should be. Good bitterness.

Cloudy golden color, skunk, earthy aroma. grainy, some maltiness, hops come in the aftertaste, ok brew.

Bottle at the Düsseldorf Gathering. Very slightly hazy, yellow body. Frothy off-white head. Aroma of hops (citrus). Moderately sweet, lightly bitter flavour. Ok balance and beer.

Düsseldorf Gathering, Bottled. Skunky hoppy aroma. Hazy, yellow color, white head, few lace. Grainy, maltsweet, bitter. Grains, hops, that’s it and also unbalanced. Not a perfect brew.

(draught at the brewpub) Hazy yellow colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Yeasty, slightly sulfury and herbal hoppy nose. Moderately sweet flavour, soft malty, yeasty taste; quite bitter and hoppy finish with an unpleasant gassy/skunky note. Unripe.
