On tap (@ the brewpub):Slightly hazy, straw golden coloured, mid-sized fluffy head, very slowly collapsing; grassy hops support the sweet-malty aroma, strong, bone-dry bitter favour, lght bodied "slim"; dry, bitter-sweetish finish - the hops stick to the tongue ! An excellent, spicy Pilsener, nearly an "Ersatz-Fiege".........

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild grassy and toasted malt. Light butterish and malty. Dry breadish with a mild diacetyl note. Ends dry and bitter.

Brewery tap. Vanilla and hops in the flavor. Flowery. Clean. Not bad, in spite of the indifferent aroma.

MoritzF (7342) - Bochum, GERMANY - OCT 16, 2006
(draught at the brewpub) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a medium-sized and stable white foam. Sweet and slightly grainy, malt-accented aroma with aromatic herbal hops. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Soft malty base with strong herbal accents; very dry, almost astringent bitter finish with a lingering, slightly grassy hoppy aftertaste. Surprisingly superb Pilsener (26.09.06).
