UPDATED: MAY 29, 2014 33cl bottles, bierpost. Pours a pleasant caramel and blood orange peel acajou with white head, some retention. Very inviting floral exotic fruit aroma not fully borne out by the roughly top-fermented Keller/Zwickl caramel body. Straightforward wet Amarillo & Simcoe pine & zest interestingly outbalanced by dry caramalts. Good entry-level GPA, no specific need for that haughty sommelier teku glas though...// rerate bottles 04-05-2014: really nice showcasig of the amarillo orange marmelade and pink grapefruit notes, yet the caramalts send it in the direction of a rougher UK Bitter and yeast profile is fairly oily.

Bottle from McTapps, many thanks: Aroma of fresh lemon juice and other fruits. Hazy amber color, huge off-white creamy head. Flavor has also unusual lemon juice notes with citrus peel, few malt and caramel. Dry, hoppy finish.

bottle @home given by Sir__V It’s a nice golden/amber color we have here with a big white head. It’s telling you: come and taste me :) The smell is fruity and fleural. No doubt, you have hop inside. You find this fruit when you taste it whith a nice balance with malt. Really nice IPA that leaves me with a moderate wet bitterness after taste. definitly a beer a want to drink again.

Bottle gift by Sebastian from Kraft brewery – thank you very much! Very nice IPA - nice balance between bitter and sweet. Slightly one sided, but nice.

Very pleasant surprise this one. Hops are woody, pine and dark, and mix well with the light rustic smoke. Interesting for sure. Medium bitter, smoke is there as dark malts. Cool beer, glad to have tried. (33cl bottle from trade with Koelschtrinker, thanks!)

Flesje van de bierkabouter. Oranje/amber. Mooie kraag. Ruikt citrusfruitig, later meer moutig als het bier wat warmer is. Smaakt behoorlijk citrusfruitig, sinaasappel met name en bitter. Bittere sinaasappel nasmaak.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Cloudy amber-copper, creamy off-white head. Lovely aroma of tropcial fruit. Full-bodied, pleasantly malty and sweet to complement the immense hop flavours: bitter, resiny, with loads of fruit. Delicious and perfectly balanced beer with a smooth and velvety palate.

0,33 l bottles, BierdeLuxe.
Hazy, deep golden color with a big and off-white foamy creamy head. Fruity aroma with notes of citrus, orange blossoms and a piney touch, accompanied by yeasty spice and hints of caramel and malt. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavor, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Balanced fruity and piney hop taste with a malty base. Bittersweet and quite lasting finish.

Bottle from Rudat, Dortmund; bottled 09/2013, bb 10.06.2014; 7% ABV
Dark amber color, hazy, with medium head. The caramel and hop aroma mix is very nice, with substance and with a light fruity touch. Good body structure, yet the mouthfeel is lean and the drinkability is there; caramel flavor with minimal sweetness, nice; quite strong bitterness, but well balanced; the hopping provides a very nice mix that includes oranges, lemon peel, chamomile.
Excellent, well brewed, fresh, balanced.
