3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 humlelala (716) - DENMARK - JAN 4, 2013
(33 cl bottle from Wein Kultur Biershop Moabit; BBD: October 23rd 2013) Pours a clear amber with a thin layer of off-white head that laces the glass nicely. Aroma is hoppy with notes of lime and tropical fruit and a hint of spruce. Oily texture, soft carbonation, medium body and a slightly bitter, lingering dry finish. Taste follows the nose with added emphasis on a moderate, sprucy bitterness. Quite decent and interesting. I’d think I could easily session this and would wish for it to become available at Berlin beer bars. Girlfriend says: "It’s refreshing and not too bitter."
