Slightly hazy orange color, small steady white head. Strong fruity nose has mandarin orange and orange jam. Medium-bodied. Very fruity, aromatic, some citrus and piney notes in the finish. Light yeastyness. Interesting hop and nice beer.

(bottle) pours a hazy deep golden colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of barnyard, somked ham and herbal hops, quite resinous and meaty, with notes of apricots, brown sugar and a hint of cherries. flavour is again very resinous, with a light sweetness, some alcohol, a hint of mango and quite a bit of alcohol in the semi-dry finish. medium to heavy-bodied with average carbonation.

p.s.: fuck the metronom eisenbahngesellschaft!! had to pay a fine for rating this on one of their trains

BOTTLE 33CL from BeerHunter111, Thanks, Hans Peter. Look: clear amber (with yeast sediment) and am light orange head. Aroma: tropical fruit, tangerine and a nice fresh more spruce/minty than pine/resin kick, light caramel. Taste: rounded and balanced, caramel, that spruce/minty freshness, pleasant medium bitterness, medium body. Well done!

Bottle from bier-deluxe.de, bottled 01/2014. Golden to amber, slightly hazy body, with big, frothy, white head. Aroma of strawberry, tangerine, apricot, citrus, honey, grass. Tastes of citrus, grass, orange peel, tangerine, candy, a very slight sharpness and a nice biscuit and caramel malt backbone. Mouthfeel is medium, slick, with a medium carbonation and it finishes medium bitter, with citrus and grass. Very good. The best ale showcasing the Mandarina Bavaria hop variety I’ve had so far! This is my second IPA from this brewery and both had a great balance, a distinct hop profile and a nice malt backbone. My favourite German brewery for IPAs at the moment!

Bottle, bought @ YNWA Beershop, Kolding. Pours clear orange with a large, staying, creamy white head. Aroma has mandarin, apricot, a slight butterscotch note to the malts. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite full mouthfeel. Flavour has fine doughy malts, grapefruit, apricot, mandarin peel. Long, lingering bitter finish. Nice.

bottle at home courtesy of McTapps, cheers Sabine!
hazy mid amber with pillowy pale beige head, mandarins and a touch of lemon cheesecake with undertones of nettle and passion fruit. Fairly grassy bitterness, pithy, citrus, an unusual burnt plastic note, but not unpleasant, dry pithy finish. Great to see something like this from germany, but fairly tough going.

Bottle 33cl, 6,1% ABV. Amber color, slightly hazy. Small white head. In fact: a very pleasant tangerine smell comes to the nose. Full body with a distinctive dry tangerine taste and subtle carbonation. Surprisingly strong bitterness and a powerful and long finish. A distinctive IPA, not overdesigned and highly drinkable.
