Bottle from a supermarket in a mall in Berlin. Pale opaque orange topped with unmoving white. Wunderbar sappy fresh aroma of honeyed shrub, soft leather, rosemary, soapy pine and buttery pastries. Sweet, thick and honeyed with a balancing grassy, pine sap hit. Kind of like a trad buttery Black Country bitter, mild, whatever..but better. Herbal almost like sage. So fresh it’s like licking a newly mown lawn. Fliptop that thick glassed and hefty it belongs to a long forgotten antediluvian age. Bonus points. Exquisite. Unlike anything I’ve ever drank.

Bottle(Markthalle 9, Kreuzberg):Golden, hazy, white mid-sized head; bready and yeasty nose with a certain, still delicate citrussy touch; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, surely n o t watery, pretty soft; mild spicy and bitter finish. Not bad…

Thanks Joel! Pours a hazy light honey color with a light tan head. The smell is caramel, fruit. The taste is fruit, caramel, ending dry and crisp. The body is light plus with average carbonation.

0.5 bottle. Somewhat hazy, gold color and a medium, white head. Aroma of hay, delicate hops, and usual pale malts. Subtle taste of pale malts and grains - very simplistic. Light body, slick texture, and a soft carbonation. Finish is short and mostly tasteless. Overall a mediocre beer even for its style

(swing top bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly bready and mildly grainy malty aroma with a delicately citric hoppy touch. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm, if not a bit tame carbonation. Slightly grainy malt character with subtle fruity and slightly herbal accents; slightly sweet and restrained bitter hoppy finish with traces of caramel and herbal spice. Inoffensive, not overly exciting brew. 25.XI.14
