1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 pilsnerrogge (2142) - Finspång, - AUG 3, 2008
Bottled as " Næsgaarden Mørk" Pours mahogany with a large, airy head. Somewhat sour aroma with notes of toffee and chocolate. Thin mouth-feel. Slightly sour flavour with notes of dry cocoa and peat. Bitter finish. If I get the chance I will try to re-rate this one as it seems a bit infected.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 yngwie (9177) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 22, 2009
Bottle, as Næsgaarden Mørk. It pours a clear, copper body under an off-white head. Sourish, fruity nose with some grains. Slighlty sourish flavor too, with dried fruits and a hint of caramel. Thin and sourish mouthfeel, and a short, sour finish. Still, it’s not undrinkable, but not very pleasant either. Certainly off. 090720

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Oakes (10184) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 24, 2009
Hazy light brown. The aroma is roasty with a little bit metallic. It’s picked up some tart character alongside toasty, vaguley chocolate dark malts. At this point in the development of sourness it works well, actually.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Beershine (4712) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - JUL 17, 2009
Bottle. Red-brown color with thick, lasting bone-colored head. Burly aroma has plums and apples. Soft carbonation. The flavors are quite sour and it has probably gone off. It’s not wholly offensive yet it’s not enjoyable either. The fruitiness is there and has a light, watery but malty finish. Would like to try again in its top form.
