Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 17, 2006 An amber beer with a huge light brown head. The aroma is very yeasty, but also with notes of malt and brewmash. The flavor is sweet and very malty combined with strong notes of caramel, leading to a dry metallic end. omhper (10393), Stockholm, Sweden May 22, 2006 [Draught at Købehavnske Øldage] Clear amber. Some toffee and grass up front. Sweet and medium bodied. There’s some caramel, but not much that sticks out. It’s also on the sweet side. A bit of a let down after their winter bock. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 16, 2006 (On tap) Beautiful, clear amber with a creamy, off-white head. Clean, malty nose. Solid body with a very solid malt profil, vague accents of caramel. A somewhat metallic edge. Distinct bitter hopped finish.
