2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 phredrik (878) - Aalborg, DENMARK - APR 4, 2010
Tab @ Plan B
Deep brown color, near a black, beige-white head.
Roasty nose, caramel as well as some chocolate. The taste is roasty as well, caramel and slightly hoppy. An anonymous beer, actually, has a small to medium body, but not exactly a taste-bomb.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 MoritzF (7342) - Bochum, GERMANY - MAY 31, 2009
(bottle) Slightly hazy, amber colour with a small cream-coloured layer. Sweet malty and nutty, slightly bready aroma, also a bit acidic fruity with a whiff of hops. Moderately sweet flavour, slightly vinous fruity taste; good malt-character with a delicate herbal hoppy note; sweet-bitter, minimal vinous finish with a pleasant and warming alcoholic note (18.IV.07).
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Grovlam (4108) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 24, 2009
Draught. [Beer festival 2009] This was the “Spring Bock” labeled beer. Large off-white light creamy like head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Golden amber like color. Aroma of bread, floral, grain, fruit, mild toasted malt. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with a hint of bitterness in there. Malty sweet finish.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 chriso (7065) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 10, 2008
Draught at Kobehavnske Oldage, May 2006, as Braunstein Spring Bock. Clear copper colour with a reddish tinge. Relatively dry, with some bready malt and caramel. Like most of the Braunstein beers I’ve tried this was a very clean beer but perhaps a little unadventurous. A very pleasant beer but not really very bock-like. Alcohol doesn’t show very strongly and, coupled with the fairly dry mouthfeel, this comes over more like a rather pale Dunkel or a Vienna.
