Flavor is mild smouth malty mouth feeling, some marsipan is there to. Medium body, and a medium alcy/malty finish. TheDog (269), Aarhus, Denmark Feb 28, 2007 Bottle. Nice dark amber clear colour. Pours a ok head, but dissapears a bit too fast. Aroma of fruits, brown sugar and spices. It´s very fresh and crisp, with some acidity. Finish also sweetmalty, smooth and bitter. For sure a big applaus for this fine Easter Bock. fiulijn (5880), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Mar 18, 2008 Draught at Plan B, Copenhagen Amber color. Good malt and caramel aroma. Good sweet caramel and malt taste too, correctly bitter. Straightforward but very pleasant. Sigmund (1961), Hafrsfjord, Norway Apr 15, 2007 500 ml brown bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Beautiful deep amber to copper colour, large head. Lovely aroma of treacle and butterscotch, notes of rum-drenched fruits. The flavour is rich and malty with loads of caramel, butterscotch and fruit, decent hops in the finish. This is an Easter bock I’d be happy to drink again. KnutAlbert (2313), Oslo, Norway Mar 23, 2006 Draft at Plan b, Copenhagen.
Rather mild taste to start with, but it opens up in the mouth. The malt flavour comes out when it gets a bit warmer. Then the malty richness is ruthlessly kicked out by some serious bitterness from the hops. A great beer!
