From a 1L flip-top bottle, thanks to Thomas@Plan B, København. Jet black, firm choco head. Aroma of hard roasted dark malts, with notes of tar, rope and tobacco. Big malt body. Taste is peaty, tarry, with a strong but fairly rounded roastedness. Lots of bitterness from the malts. Notes of salty licorice and burnt wood. Well-bodied. Thick and oily in the mouth. Lingering malty-bitter fade. Very powerfull, very tasty, yet kind of balanced with good drinkabilty.
