Bottle. No head. Pitch black body. Malt anise vanlilla caramel aroma and flavor. Pretty sweet with low carbonation and a long sweet finish. Too sweet for my taste.

Bottle at Valhal Beerfest 2013. Clear brown - offwhite head. Clear brown - offwhite head. High staranis, a bit of medicine taste - hostesaft, sweetness, roasted notes, some light oxidation notes.

50 cl bottle, heritage 2012 with annis seed. Pours clear and golden deep brown to amber with no head. Aroma is solid cough syrup. Toasted malty, star annis and just cough syrup. Liqourice and annis seed finish.

Botella. Deep dark brown colour, small beige head. Quite sweet aroma with plenty of anise indeed, well toasted malt and caramel underneath. Good mouthfeel. Quite sweet flavour, lots of anise along well toasted maltiness and caramel, alcohol too. Bit too much anise but still good.

Fruity finish of licorice.

Bottled. A black beer with no head. The aroma has notes of liquorice, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of liquorice, malt, caramel, and alcohol - a bit too much liquorice for my taste.
