Bottle from Brugsen, Copenhagen - pours dark brown to black with a beige covering and lacing. Aroma and taste comprises medium roasty sweet malts, some cocoa, coffee notes, weird watery palate, light in body, sweet malty finish. Meh.

A Danish, dark brown, ecological porter with extremely high, creamy head. Although chilled and not shaken, foam floated up the bottle and all over the table. Aroma is roasted, chocolate, malty, light yeasty. Taste is bitter sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Copenhagen 15/10 2015. 50 cl bottle from Fakta. Ridiculously foamy upon opening. Pours slightly hazy dark brown with huge off-white head. Settles as 2 cm thick layer of foam. Aroma is pretty subdued for a porter type of beer. Sweetish with a little caramel. A little alcohol. Not much going on. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Taste is sweetish and watery. A little metallic alcohol. A fairly disappointing porter.

Når man hælder den op, har den næsten intet skum, og den er meget tynd af en porter af være, dog med noter af kaffe.

Look; light yellow beige foam, black body with dark ruby edges, fluffy spread lacing. Aroma; mild modest caramel cream, some chocolate notes, some diluted fruit peels, and cellar. Taste; dark malts, light roasted malts, cocoa notes, nuts, leaves, grass, plum peels - leading to a mocca-fruity finish. On palate good. Overall; easy evening sipper. Lots of cellar notes around. Nougat colored coarse foam with roughly lasting durability. Smells fine of hard roasted malt. Fine chocolate notes at the beginning of the taste, but a strange sour tang follow shortly after, and it is only just barely followed by a slight hoppy aftertaste. At first I thought it was an infected bottle I had opened, but some of my friends has apparently noticed the same acidity, so it’s probably meant to taste like this. After a few sips it get a little better, but it is never really delicious. I think it is directly disappointing.

Bottle, 50cl. Pours dark brown-black colour with small, beige head. Roasted malt in the nose with licorice, coffee and milky chocolate. Taste very similar to nose. Sweet malt and chocolate with light bitter aftertaste. Light and soft mouthfeel. Delightful creamy texture and body. Too thin to be really something.

Flaske.
