Here I get a blonde ale, which is somewhat darker in color than you normally expect of a blonde. It is filtrered and has a nice mellow white and creamy foamy head, which after a few minutes holding 3-4 mm on top of the beer. The aroma is a little citrus and floral hops. Malt is suffered caramel, but pretty quickly take over its hoppy bitterness which will then become the main theme of the beer’s overall impression. It is quite a good hoppy bitterness that lasts long in the mouth, but it’s a pity for the authenticity of a blond ale. I like malt and hops to be more moderate in a blonde ale, but here is brewed an ale with overweight on hoppy bitterness, and the tangential almost a pale ale. I consider it to taste good, but unfortunately it is far from the blond ale as the label promises.

Bottle. It pours a hazy dark amber colored body under a small, dense, off-white head. Candy and caramel on the nose, with some yeasty hints and dried fruits. Caramel, dried fruits, candy and a touch of grass and bitterness in the flavor. Medium body, pleasant carbonation. Sweet candy finish with caramel. Not much of a blond this one, and way too sweet. Not much interesting either. 140724

Bought 33cl bottle in supermarket, Middelfart DK. Very high foam, gives scent with ginger maybe, but it’s not much of it anyway. Bronze colour and low carbonation. Taste of hops, smoke, some bitter. Aftertaste from malts. Ecological. Gentle to nature and gentle to me. Vejlby Fed 3july2013.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with quickly vanishing white head. Clear but wesk aroma of hops and malt with a note of caramel. Bitter, hoppy onset, quickly giving way to a taste of decomposing fruit and a mild hoppy note. Watery mouthfeel. Rough aftertaste. Not good.

Flaska. Bärnstensfärgad med vitt medelstort skum. Doftar bröd, karamell, kokta grönsaker, rabarber. Smakar ungefär detsamma minus grönsakerna men plus röda äpplen.

Pale orange color. Aroma: Hops, orange peel, bread and caramel. Taste: Slightly hoppy, definitely much more crispy, toasty and bready. Some malt sweetness. Medium body. This beer is by no means amazing, but it’s definitely not bad and it’s very sessionable. It’s a tad underrated in my opinion, it’s a pretty decent beer for the price!
