Xavalias (149) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 20, 2014
Bottle. Pours dark brown with a big brown head that quickly disappears. No lacing. Aroma of burnt malts, coffee, and some off-note of chemicals, maybe artificial sweeteners. The taste is very sweet and light bitter, the palate watery. At least it isn’t acidic as often with the Braunsteins, but it isn’t a good porter.

No surprises. Traditional on everything, weak on taste, body very thin. All in all boring.

NosirIwont (1962) - Aalborg Vestby, DENMARK - JUN 29, 2014
Bottle. 7.2%. Best before 21.12.14. Pours a murky dark amber/brown with a diminishing light tan head. No lacing. Tart, bordering sour, aroma; a bit berry-like. Fruity as well, with a bit of hops. Flavour is pretty much the same, with a dark fruits and also a bit grainy, which continues and increases in and dominates the finish. Lingering grassy note. Feels a bit oily and has a bit too much carbonation. Overall not that good; unbalanced, too tart and all in all not very porter-like. 30.06.14.

Camons (5961) - Hasselager, DENMARK - JUN 25, 2014
Bottle @ Home. Pours black with a creamy tan head. Aroma is rather weak with notes of malt, little coffee, little chocolate, light sourness. Flavor is sweet with malt, caramel, chocolate, little grain, notes of coffee. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation. Weak aroma, and somewhat thin, but do actually taste decent. 250614

Defreni (2601) - Husum, DENMARK - JUN 25, 2014

Plovmand (6488) - Helsinge, DENMARK - MAY 1, 2014
Bottle. Pours cola brown with a medium beige head. The aroma is plastic like roasted with notes of light chocolate. The flavor is roasted but overall quite bland. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
